WORKSHOPS
Grooveworks mission is to provide a serious growth opportunity for the new musicians of Southeast Asia. We create a workshop environment for the focused study of modern music live performance. The groups that make up the program are structured as performing units, with regular weekly rehearsals leading towards live performances at venues across Singapore. We focus on creating a creative, collaborative community, encouraging self expression and improvisation.
A whole different way of listening to music

And in the next 2+ years that I kept at it, can honestly say that Greg Lyons opened my ears and my mind to a approach and an attitude of playing music that I bring to a lot of different areas of my life. Having taken my musical journey to some pretty distant places and then back again, I'm so glad to be paying homage by attending Groove Works once again.
